Libianca Fonji popularly known as Libianca is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter and sound engineer who came to prominence for her hit single “People”. 

The song gained popularity on social media sites, particularly on the video-sharing app Tik Tok, where every musician and music fan contributed a verse.

Her participation on the twenty-first season of the American TV program The Voice in 2021 is also well-known.

Libianca was born Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji in 2001, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States and she is originally from Bamenda, Cameroon.

At the age of 4, she and her brother emigrated to Cameroon, and at the age of 13, they returned.

When she was 10 years old, she started creating songs and joined the chorus. At the age of 15, she acquired a local record deal and began studying engineering and recording.

She was influenced by artists like Beyonce, Shakira, Rihanna, and Keyshia Cole as she grew passionate about music.

She took part in the twenty-first season of the American television program The Voice in 2021 and placed in the top 20.

She signed with both RCA Records and 5k Records. She debuted several freestyles and renditions of well-known songs, including “Everything I Wanted” by Bilie Eilish.
